KUALA LUMPUR: Recognising outstanding leadership, innovation, and resilience among the next generation of business leaders, the Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs (MIYE) platform continues to serve as a benchmark for entrepreneurial excellence in Malaysia.
In conjunction with its 10th anniversary, the 2025 edition of the programme attracted more than 1,300 nominations nationwide.
Following a rigorous selection process, only 100 individuals were ultimately recognised, underscoring the accolade’s exclusivity and credibility.
Organised by Entrepreneur Insight magazine, published by Armani Media Group Bhd, this year’s ceremony was held under the theme “Reimagine”.
The theme reflects the organisers’ vision to inspire young entrepreneurs to remain confident amid uncertainty, challenge conventional thinking, and adopt new perspectives in navigating today’s dynamic business environment.
Chairman of the 100MIYE organising committee Datuk KK Chua noted that modern entrepreneurship demands resilience, discipline, and a willingness to confront challenges head-on in order to remain competitive.
He explained that the entrepreneurial journey involves continuous learning processes that ultimately shape more mature leadership, stronger management capabilities, and sound decision-making.
“Aligned with the theme ‘Reimagine’, this platform encourages entrepreneurs to view both life and business through a fresher, more relevant, and bolder lens,” he said.
“It is not simply about refining existing models, but about preparing oneself to develop stronger ideas, actively seek new opportunities, and scale towards the global stage.”
Chua further emphasised that setbacks and uncertainties should be embraced as valuable learning experiences, enabling entrepreneurs to grow and experiment with new approaches.
He also highlighted the importance of leadership that fosters collaboration, where organisational heads work closely with their teams by harnessing collective energy and ideas.
“We take pride in the achievements of these 100 selected recipients, who have demonstrated perseverance, determination, and long-term commitment throughout their entrepreneurial journeys. Their accomplishments merit recognition through a platform such as this,” he added.
He concluded by expressing his hope that the entrepreneurial spirit embodied by the award recipients will continue to flourish and contribute to many more remarkable successes in the years ahead.
