SHAH ALAM: SP Setia Bhd is confident Setia AlamImpian will become one of the most sought-after addresses in the Klang Valley, according to chairman Tan Sri Syed Anwar Jamalullail.
“After completion in 2036, this township will accommodate nearly 80,000 residents in 20,000 units,“ he said during the opening of Setia Alamimpian’s Lakepoint Complex on Saturday.
The event was officiated and graced by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Syed Anwar mentioned that LakePoint Complex, situated within the 1,235-acre Setia AlamImpian township in Shah Alam, is anticipated to draw not only residents from Setia AlamImpian but also people from nearby areas.
“Since opening its doors to the public in August 2023, we have been receiving encouraging response and footfall (for the complex) from our target audience and nearby catchments here in Shah Alam, which is approximately up to 12,000 every month,” he said.
Syed Anwar said LakePoint Complex is poised to be the crown jewel of the township of Setia AlamImpian.
“The new LakePoint Complex comprises the two-storey LakePoint Central (retail centre), LakePoint Club (clubhouse) and LakePoint Gallerie (sales gallery and office), which is situated next to the improved LakePoint Park (31-acre park and lake) that is further developed by landscape and infrastructure enhancements,” he remarked.
He said LakePoint Central, which has a net lettable area of 28,038 sq ft of retail space, is 83% taken up, with a list of tenants including JomPa Café, RAWi Authentic Fusion Cuisine, The Gorpis Kafe and Frosted by Sheena.
The retail hub includes a wellness centre (DBC Physiotherapy), a grocer and anchor tenant (Urban Marketplace), hair and beauty salon (Adanis), fashion boutique (RHR Xcluseev), and an art gallery by UiTM (Crystal Art Gallery).
LakePoint Club offers recreational facilities including four badminton courts, a futsal court, an Olympic-size infinity swimming pool, wading pool, sauna, dance studio, games room, a gym overlooking LakePoint Park and a grand ballroom with a capacity of 1,000 people.
It also has a redesigned park with musical instruments, sculptures and solar powered lighting that is aligning with its environmental, social, governance initiatives.
Setia AlamImpian, which comprises seven arts-themed landscaped precincts – Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Musical Arts, Digital Arts, Cinematic Arts, Industrial Arts and Minimalist Arts – has a gross development value of RM8.2 billion.
Apart from its launches of terrace and cluster homes, SP Setia plans to launch the township’s premium precinct comprising semidetached homes scheduled in the fourth quatter of 2024 and bungalows by 2025.
