Lawatan kedua Anwar ke China dijangka hasilkan satu lagi pelaburan sampingan

PUTRAJAYA: Lawatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yang akan datang ke China dijangka menghasilkan satu lagi pelaburan sampingan kepada Malaysia seperti yang telah dicapai dalam lawatan sebelum ini pada Mac, kata Menteri Ekonomi Rafizi Ramli (gambar).

“Setiap kali Perdana Menteri melawat China, lawatan itu bukan sekadar ‘mengukir senyuman dan mengucapkan hai.’

“Terdapat beberapa siri tindakan susulan, dan bagi Memorandum Persefahaman dan pelaburan yang dimeterai daripada lawatan sebelum ini, beliau (Anwar) melaksanakan tindakan susulan dengan pejabatnya dan semua jabatan yang diperlukan,” katanya.

Rafizi berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas menghadiri Power Chat Gabungan Dewan Perniagaan dan Perindustrian Cina Bersekutu Malaysia (ACCCIM) dan pelancaran Konvensyen Usahawan Cina Sedunia (WCEC) Ke-17 di sini hari ini.

Perdana Menteri dijadualkan mengadakan lawatan kedua ke China bagi menghadiri Ekspo China-Asean Ke-20 (CAEXPO) 2023 di Nanning, China pada 17 Sept ini bagi mengukuhkan lagi hubungan antara kedua-dua negara dan sebagai persiapan untuk menyambut ulang tahun ke-50 hubungan Malaysia-China pada tahun depan.

Menurut Rafizi, hubungan kepimpinan antara Anwar dan China adalah baik, yang menyaksikan pelbagai mesyuarat telah diadakan selain perbincangan berterusan dari semasa ke semasa.

“Hubungan sedemikian bukan sahaja memperkukuh kerjasama antara kerajaan, malah, memudahkan lebih banyak pelaburan dan pelaburan rentas sempadan antara syarikat Malaysia dan China,” katanya. –Bernama
