She captured the audience’s attention with her vibrant movements to the song at a wedding, which she attended, recently.

The song, sung by Usha Uthup, is from the 1981 Hindi movie Armaan, in which the actress originally performed it some forty years ago. The track regained popularity after a revamped version appeared in last year’s film Dhurandhar.

A former Miss India, model, television actress, restaurant manager, and film actress, Kalpana Iyer has not appeared in movies for many years.

Now in her 70s, she danced to the hit song sporting a short hair and spectacles, seemingly enjoying herself while bringing back nostalgic memories for many fans.
