Security guard and man caught on viral video spraying water, kicking homeless man in Cheras

The incident is believed to have taken place outside a bank in Taman Maluri, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

A video showing a female security guard and a man spraying water and kicking a homeless man sleeping on a walkway in Cheras has gone viral, sparking outrage online.

Moments later, a man walks over and kicks the homeless man before grabbing the hose and continuing to spray him in an attempt to force him to leave.

According to social media posts, the incident is believed to have taken place outside a bank in Taman Maluri, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

The footage has since drawn thousands of comments condemning the pair’s actions and calling for authorities to intervene, while also urging support for the homeless man.

“This is just sad. No way this is justifiable. There are still so many better ways to manage this without causing any inconvenience to anyone,” commented AbaloneJuice.

“No one asked to be homeless. Sometimes luck was never on their side. Worked hard, worked smart and end up dropping hard, friends leave them, spouses leave them, family members turn their heads away. Things happens and no one ever asked for it. Just learn to respect and show compassion as a fellow human being,” said RodRoy1978.

“What an utter lack of human compassion. Those two should be publicly shamed and then arrested for assault. Just because someone is homeless doesn’t mean that they lost their rights and protections under the law.

“This is disgraceful. A disgrace on the people involved. A disgrace on Malaysia,” wrote Wise_Monkey_Sez.
