Anthony Loke: Flat RM5 one-way fare for Malaysians on KTM’s

KLUANG: Anthony Loke has revealed that Malaysians will pay a fixed RM5 for a one-way ride on Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad’s (KTMB) Shuttle Tebrau between Johor Baru and Woodlands, Singapore.

The Minister for Transport stated that KTMB has suggested a modification to remove the pricing differential. Currently, a one-way ticket from Johor Baru to Woodlands, Singapore, costs RM5, while a return ticket costs S$5 (RM17.30).

“I’ll talk to the Land Public Transport Agency about the concept, which I appreciate. We think it may be completed by early next year,“ he stated at a news conference held here on Sunday, December 10, following the Johor DAP convention.
