PETALING JAYA: The bodyguard who was seriously injured in the shooting incident at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 was still unconscious last night.
This update was revealed in a Facebook posting by Farah Md Isa or Farah Cie, the woman the bodyguard was assigned to protect.
“I’m truly sorry that your messages have gone unanswered. It was traumatising witnessing such an incident unfold in front of my very eyes.
“As of this moment, my bodyguard is still unconscious. Let’s together pray for Along to regain his health,” read the post.

In the 1.20 am incident, the suspect fired two shots at his wife at the entrance of the arrival hall but missed, with one of the shots hitting Along, who was one of her two bodyguards.
The suspect fled in a car parked at level two of Block C.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the incident was originated from personal issue and unrelated to terrorist activities or groups.
