AirBorneo launches website and call centre for ticket sales

Sarawak’s new airline AirBorneo starts selling tickets via its new website and call centre ahead of taking over MASwings services.

KUCHING: State-owned airline AirBorneo will launch its official website and call centre on Tuesday.

This marks the start of ticket sales for flights following its takeover of MASwings at the end of December.

The launch represents a key milestone in its operational transition ahead of the full assumption of services.

Travellers purchasing new tickets for travel on or before 13 January 2026 should continue using the MASwings website.

Tickets for travel on or after 14 January 2026 must be purchased through AirBorneo’s new official channels.

Customers can contact the call centre at 1-300-22-1388 for local callers or (+60) 82-537 555 for international bookings.

All existing MASwings tickets and bookings will remain valid with no changes to flight dates.

Passengers holding MASwings tickets for travel on or after 14 January 2026 will receive individual notifications on ticket reissuance.

The public is advised to visit the official website at www.airborneo.com from Tuesday for further information.

They can also refer to the general frequently asked questions or contact the customer service team.

The Sarawak government entered a sale and purchase agreement for MASwings on 12 February 2025.

This formalised the acquisition and paved the way for establishing AirBorneo as the state’s airline.
