Chief Secretary praises Anwar’s leadership as MADANI government marks three years

Chief Secretary Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar congratulates PM Anwar Ibrahim on the MADANI government’s third anniversary, highlighting wise leadership.

KUALA LUMPUR: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar has congratulated Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on the third anniversary of the MADANI Government.

He said Malaysia MADANI has stood proudly for three years under a Prime Minister who steers the nation with wisdom and firmness while understanding the people’s struggles.

“Today is not merely a date; it is a record in our nation’s chronicle,” he stated in a Facebook post today.

“Congratulations, PMX. May our steps remain firm in unity, the future stay bright and Malaysia continue to flourish under the Malaysia MADANI vision.”

Anwar was sworn in as Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister on November 24, 2022.

He introduced the Malaysia MADANI framework on January 19, 2023, to restore the nation’s dignity and global excellence.

The framework is built on six core values: Sustainability, Prosperity, Innovation, Respect, Trust and Compassion.

The Prime Minister’s Office will organise the ‘Program Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku’ at Dataran Putrajaya from December 5 to 7.

This programme continues the annual reporting tradition where the MADANI Government presents its achievements directly to the people.

The Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit stated the event aims to transparently showcase policy progress and 2025 initiative outcomes.

It will also serve as a platform for the public to meet national leaders including Anwar, Cabinet members and senior government officials. – Bernama

Toyota Pushes Ahead With Mid-Engined Development

Toyota is moving forward with its mid-engined sports car programme, even after early reports suggested the development team had run into major challenges with its GR Yaris M Concept test car. Instead of slowing down, engineers refined the prototype and recently secured a third-place finish in their class in Japan’s Super Taikyu Series, signalling that progress remains steady. This project has been under development for some time and is widely believed to be the foundation for a new-generation MR2. Until the production model is ready, Toyota is using a heavily modified GR Yaris to test its mid-engine layout, convinced that the setup has the potential to outperform what the current Yaris platform can achieve.
