SEREMBAN: Police have received new directives from the Attorney General’s Chambers to complete the investigation into a Year Four pupil’s death in Senawang before resubmitting the investigation paper.

Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad confirmed the AGC had returned the investigation paper with requirements for additional actions before resubmission.

He urged all parties to refrain from making statements that could affect the ongoing investigation process while the paper remains incomplete.

Police will provide updates on the investigation once they receive further instructions from the Attorney General’s Chambers.

The Ministry of Education has called for a thorough investigation into all aspects related to the incident involving the Year Four pupil to ensure justice is served.

The ministry stated it is taking full note of the statement issued by the pupil’s family regarding the incident.

A post-mortem examination determined the cause of death as pressure to the neck with no other injuries found on the victim’s body. – Bernama
