Malaysia pertahankan gelaran juara dunia e-sukan, sasar emas Sukan SEA

Malaysia kekal juara dunia e-sukan IESF 2025, beri momentum untuk buru pingat emas pertama acara MLBB di Sukan SEA Thailand

KEJAYAAN mempertahankan gelaran juara dunia di Kejohanan Dunia e-Sukan IESF 2025 menyuntik keyakinan kepada skuad negara untuk memburu pingat emas Sukan SEA 2025.

Ketua jurulatih kebangsaan Michael ‘Arcadia’ Bocado berkata kemenangan itu datang pada waktu yang tepat untuk meningkatkan momentum pasukan.

“Sudah pasti kami akan melakukan segala yang termampu untuk meraih emas Sukan SEA dengan baki masa yang ada akan dimanfaatkan untuk berlatih sebaik mungkin,” katanya.

Malaysia menewaskan Kemboja 3-0 pada perlawanan akhir kejohanan dunia yang berlangsung di Quill City Mall.

Pasukan juara itu dibarisi Idreen ‘Momo’ Jamal, Muhd Qayyum ‘Yums’ Ariffin, Muhd Haqqullah ‘Sekysss’ Ahmad, Hazziq ‘Stormie’ Danish dan Ealtond ‘Lolealz’ Rayner.

Michael berkata pasukan kekal berwaspada dan fokus untuk menambah strategi menjelang Sukan SEA.

Sementara itu, Sekysss mengakui prestasi konsisten sepanjang kejohanan telah mengukuhkan keserasian pasukan.

Beliau menekankan bahawa meraih pingat emas Sukan SEA akan membawa makna simbolik yang sangat besar.

“Jika menjadi juara Sukan SEA, itu akan menjadi sesuatu yang amat bersejarah bagi kami,” katanya.

Persekutuan Sukan Elektronik Malaysia menetapkan sasaran dua pingat emas bagi acara Mobile Legends: Bang Bang lelaki dan wanita.

Malaysia belum pernah memenangi emas acara MLBB sejak ia diperkenalkan pada Sukan SEA 2019.

Pasukan lelaki membawa pulang perak manakala wanita memperoleh gangsa pada edisi 2023 di Kemboja. – Bernama
