Social media influencer Caprice pays RM8,320 in court-ordered costs to a businessman one day after bailiffs attempted to execute a writ at his former home.
KUALA LUMPUR: Social media influencer Caprice has settled outstanding court costs owed to a businessman.
Lawyer Muniandy Vestanathan confirmed his client, Datuk Seri R Jeyenderan, received RM8,320 from Caprice, whose legal name is Ariz Ramli.
The payment was made a day after two court bailiffs attempted to execute a writ of seizure and sale at Caprice’s former Mont Kiara residence.
The bailiffs were unsuccessful as the apartment management informed them his tenancy had expired last year.
Muniandy stated that court orders are binding directives meant to ensure fairness and the proper administration of justice.
The writ was issued on Dec 3, 2025, after Caprice failed to comply with an earlier court order.
On Oct 15 last year, High Court Judge Roslan Mat Nor ordered Caprice to pay RM8,000 in costs within two weeks, which he did not do.
Jeyenderan had filed a defamation suit against Caprice on July 21, 2025.
He claims the influencer made posts on July 10, 2025, linking him to criminal activities without credible evidence.
Jeyenderan is seeking RM3 million in damages for reputational harm and other relief.
