An 26-year-old Chinese student died after a suspected fall from an 18th-floor condominium in Nilai, with police classifying the case as sudden death.
NILAI: A student from China died after a suspected fall from an 18th-floor condominium in Bandar Baru Nilai this morning.
Nilai district police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim said authorities received public information about a man found lying on the building’s fifth floor at 7am.
“Preliminary investigations show that the victim, aged 26, was a student living in the condominium with another of his compatriots,” he said in a statement.
The Negeri Sembilan police forensics team found no suspicious exterior wounds on the victim during initial checks.
No personal items were reported missing from the victim’s home.
The body has been sent to Rembau Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
