Selangor police confirm the Klang shooting victim had three prior drug records, with no arrests made and no link to an earlier Bukit Tinggi case.
SHAH ALAM: The man killed in a shooting in Klang last Saturday had three prior criminal records for drug offences.
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the offences were under Sections 15 and 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
“So far, no arrests have been made,” he said during a press conference today.

He added that police would investigate from all angles but were still in the early stages.
The post-mortem found the 26-year-old victim died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Shazeli said five shots were fired at close range.
Investigations indicate no connection to a similar shooting in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, on November 7.
“In the Bukit Tinggi case, one suspect was released on police bail,” he said.
He confirmed that no evidence linked that suspect to the incident and investigations are ongoing.
Selangor Police confirmed receiving information about the Taman Mesra Indah shooting on November 29.
Media reports said the victim was found dead in the front passenger seat of a four-wheel-drive vehicle by the public. – Bernama
