Selangor police cripple a syndicate selling ketamine-laced vape liquid, seizing RM3.04 million worth of products and arresting three men.
SHAH ALAM: Police have crippled a syndicate believed to be distributing drug-laced vape products with an estimated street value of RM3.04 million.
The operation led to the arrest of three men at a premises used for storage and packing in Klang on November 27.
Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the raid at 2 pm resulted in the seizure of 2,068 cartridges, 550 pods and 240 bottles containing about 61 litres of ketamine-laced vape liquid.

He believes the products were intended for the domestic market.
The syndicate is suspected to have been active for the past six months, procuring items online and selling them openly to buyers.
“All three suspects, aged between 33 and 49, worked as a salesperson, a storekeeper and a packer, respectively,” Shazeli told a media conference.
He said their income started from RM1,200 to RM2,500, supplemented by commissions from selling the illicit substances.
The suspects comprise a widower, a married man and a single man, with only one having prior criminal records.
All three tested negative for drugs during screening.
Police also confiscated three cars and five pieces of jewellery worth a total of RM134,800.
The suspects have been remanded for seven days until December 6.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. – Bernama
