Police seek key witness in child sexual crime trial

Key witness Rohayu Ithnin is seeked by the police for ongoing child sexual crime trial in Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are urgently seeking a woman to testify as a witness in an ongoing child sexual crime trial at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus identified the witness as 45-year-old Rohayu Ithnin.

Her last known address was No 68A Jalan Hamzah, Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur.

“Her testimony is required in the trial currently in progress at the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Sessions Court 1,” Fadil said in a statement.

The case involves a report originally lodged at Dang Wangi police station.

The trial is being conducted under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

Six nations compete in RSC youth football event

Over 1,200 young footballers will compete in the upcoming 19th edition of the Royal Selangor Club (RSC) – Datuk Chu Ah Nge International Junior Soccer Tournament slated for today and ends on Dec 7 at the grounds of the RSC Bukit Kiara Annexe.
