NIBONG TEBAL: Police are searching for a foreign man to testify as a witness in an upcoming drug trial at the Butterworth Court.
The trial is scheduled for January 5 and 6 next year.
Seberang Perai Selatan district police chief Superintendent Jay January Siowou said the man is identified as Mohd Ismail Wali Hussein.
He holds a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees card numbered 512-05C00493.
His last known address was No. 18 Tingkat Permata, 14000 Alma in Penang.
Supt Jay January said the man is a witness for a case from Simpang Ampat.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
“Anyone with information regarding this witness may contact investigating officer Inspector Abdul Syakur Suhaibi,” he said.
