Deputy PM Ahmad Zahid Hamidi offers condolences to the family of Paya Besar Umno division vice chief Datuk Umar Arbain, who passed away last night.
KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has extended his condolences to the family of Paya Besar UMNO division vice chief Datuk Umar Arbain, who passed away last night.
In a Facebook post today, Ahmad Zahid, who is also UMNO president, described Umar’s passing as a great loss to the Paya Besar UMNO division and the wider UMNO fraternity in Pahang.
He described the deceased as a loyal party leader who remained close to the community throughout his service.
“The entire UMNO leadership and I extend our condolences to the family of the deceased and the Paya Besar UMNO family over this loss.
“I pray that Allah SWT forgives all his sins, accepts his good deeds and places his soul among the faithful,” he said.
