Floodwaters fully recede in Pahang, while victim numbers fall in Sarawak and Johor. However, Sabah sees an increase in evacuees.
KUALA LUMPUR: Floodwaters in Pahang have fully receded, allowing the last remaining evacuees to return home.
In Raub, the final 83 victims from 17 families at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Ulu Atok relief centre were allowed to leave by midday.
The number of flood victims in Sarawak has declined to 1,225 people from 307 families as of 4 pm.

This is down from 1,343 people from 342 families reported earlier in the day.
The Dewan Suarah Kota Samarahan relief centre was closed at 2 pm, leaving 10 active centres operating across the state.
Several major rivers in Sarawak remain above their danger levels, according to the Department of Irrigation and Drainage.
These include Long Teru in Miri at 8.28 metres, Marudi at 3.67 metres, and Nanga Lemai B in Sibu at 4.34 metres.
In Johor, the flood situation in Segamat has also improved, with victim numbers falling to 92 people from 27 families.
All evacuees are being accommodated at five temporary relief centres in the district.
Meanwhile, the flood situation in Sabah has worsened, with the number of victims rising to 282 people from 102 families.
All are sheltered at the permanent relief centre in Selagon, Beaufort, which has been operating since yesterday evening. – Bernama
