Retail prices for RON97 and unsubsidised RON95 fall by three and two sen respectively for the week of Jan 15-21, with diesel also cheaper in Peninsular Malaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR: The retail price of RON97 petrol will decrease by three sen to RM3.08 per litre from Jan 15 to 21.
The price of unsubsidised RON95 will also drop by two sen to RM2.52 per litre for the same period.
Diesel prices in Peninsular Malaysia will fall by five sen to RM2.84 per litre.
Prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The subsidised RON95 price under the BUDI MADANI (BUDI95) scheme stays at RM1.99 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance said the government will continue monitoring global oil price trends.
It stated that appropriate measures will be taken to ensure the people’s welfare remains intact.
