Retail prices for RON97, unsubsidised RON95 and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will fall from January 8 to 14, while subsidised RON95 remains at RM1.99 per litre.
KUALA LUMPUR: The retail price of RON97 petrol will decrease by five sen to RM3.11 per litre for the week of January 8 to 14.
The price of unsubsidised RON95 will also fall by two sen to RM2.54 per litre for the same period.
In Peninsular Malaysia, the retail price of diesel will drop by five sen to RM2.89 per litre.
The diesel price in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The subsidised price for RON95 petrol under the Budi MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) scheme stays at RM1.99 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance said the government will continue to monitor global oil price movements.
Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure price stability and safeguard public welfare.
