Hang Tuah Jaya spent over RM600,000 on education in 2024

MP Adam Adli says the constituency spent over RM600,000 on PTAs, school fees, laptops and aid for pupils, with a focus on key sectors in 2025.

MELAKA: The Hang Tuah Jaya Parliamentary Service Centre allocated over RM600,000 for education initiatives throughout last year.

Hang Tuah Jaya MP Adam Adli Abd Halim said the expenditure covered contributions to Parent-Teacher Associations, school fee assistance, and laptops for underprivileged pupils.

“In the Hang Tuah Jaya parliamentary constituency, we are indeed placing strong emphasis on efforts to support the education agenda,” he said.

Adam Adli, who is also Deputy Minister of Higher Education, hopes these initiatives continue to receive support to ensure better educational opportunities for local children.

He spoke after officiating a Back-to-School programme organised by the service centre at a supermarket here.

The programme provided 500 recipients with school bags and cash vouchers for purchasing school supplies.

Adam Adli added that he will focus on key sectors including education, welfare, health and infrastructure this year.
