“These measures are part of our ongoing commitment to maintain safe, efficient and comfortable airport connectivity,” KLIA stated on Facebook.

The KLIA Aerotrain was suspended in March 2023 for maintenance and upgrading works following a breakdown.

The driverless modern train resumed full operations on July 1 this year after a RM456 million upgrade.

This upgrade was part of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad’s RM742 million transformation initiative to elevate KLIA’s position as a leading regional aviation hub. – Bernama
