Floods hit Johor again, forcing 103 victims into six temporary evacuation centres in Segamat as two rivers exceed danger levels.

JOHOR BAHRU: Floods have returned to Johor, affecting the Segamat district and prompting the opening of six temporary evacuation centres.

As of 10 pm, the centres were housing 103 victims from 32 families displaced by the rising waters.

State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) Chairman Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman detailed the locations in a statement.

The opened centres include the Kampung Batu Badak Community Hall, which is housing 40 victims from 12 families.
