KPKT to lead MADANI Rakyat Programme 2026 in Perak

The Housing Ministry will spearhead the 2026 MADANI Rakyat Programme in Perak, bringing government services and community initiatives directly to the public.

IPOH: The Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT) will lead the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2026 in Perak from April 3 to 5.

The event at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on April 4.

Minister Nga Kor Ming said the programme symbolises the government’s commitment to direct public engagement and improved service delivery.

With the theme “Sustainable Cities, Quality Housing, Harmonious Communities”, it highlights KPKT’s role in urban development and inclusive communities.

Nga encouraged the public to attend the three-day event to benefit from various government initiatives.

“Visitors can look forward to government services, welfare initiatives, health services, MADANI Rahmah Sales and Agro Sales, job opportunities, local food festivals, entrepreneur showcases and various community programmes,” he said.

Highlights include helmet exchanges, free motorcycle oil changes, complimentary haircuts, and seed distributions.

Exhibitions will also feature defence and security assets for public viewing.

KPKT is coordinating satellite programmes in Ipoh and Tambun from March 28 to April 3.

These will cover housing initiatives, community safety, and digitalisation of local government services.

The organisation of PMR 2026 reflects strong federal-state collaboration under the Malaysia MADANI vision.

The programme aims to strengthen government-public ties and increase awareness of development initiatives.
