KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today announced that the Lembah Pantai parliamentary office will contribute RM100 per trader for Taman Sri Sentosa and Bazaria Pantai Dalam, reducing the Ramadan bazaar rental fee from RM400 to RM300.

He also announced a contribution of RM30,000 to the Federal Territory Malay Hawkers and Small Traders Association, in recognition of its significant role in managing various issues faced by traders.

“This contribution is aimed at encouraging them to continue their efforts, particularly in supporting local traders in Lembah Pantai.

“A total of 325 units covering two Ramadan bazaars here were handed over as part of the initiative. These include canopies, aprons and e-POS systems,” he told reporters after launching the Touch ‘n Go Group x Lembah Pantai Ramadan Bazaar programme today.

Fahmi added that the initiative forms part of efforts to help traders prepare for the upcoming festive month and to slightly reduce their operating costs.
