From comedies to thrillers, here are every must-watch movie and television series premiering or returning to major streaming services this July.
Fired Up!
Cast: Eric Chou, Angela Yuen, Shao Yu-wei, Wang Shih-hsien, Akira Huang, Cosmos Lin, Sean Lin and Ben Wu
Adapted from the popular Kakao Webtoon comic Itaewon Class created by Gwangjin, the highly-anticipated 12-episode, coming-of-age drama series follows Chou Lu-yung (played by Chou) on a quest to uncover the truth behind his father’s tragic death while fighting to preserve his family’s eatery Jin Lai Hao, alongside his friends. The series is set to debut on July 31 on HBO Max, with new episodes on subsequent Fridays.
The Devil Wears Prada 2
Cast: Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci
Andy Sachs (Hathaway) returns to Runway magazine as the new features editor, where she finds her formidable former boss Miranda (Streep) facing threats to her glossy print empire. Familiar frenemies and fresh faces join the catwalk in this stylish sequel. Packed with celebrity cameos and luminaries from the worlds of fashion and music, the film can be streamed on Disney+ starting July 29.
The Dink

Washed up former tennis prodigy Dusty Boyd (Johnson) has been reduced to coaching unruly children. After Dusty reaggravates an old injury, taking away his ability to play tennis, he picks up pickleball, which he had previously despised. Torn between two worlds, Dusty is forced to finally face the ghosts of his past athletic failures. The Dink will premiere globally on Apple TV today.
A Shop for Killers, season two
Cast: Lee Dongwook, Kim Hyejun, Hyunri and Masaki Okada
Following an award-winning first season, A Shop for Killers returns with Jian in control of the weapons shop, Jinman returned from the dead, and Babylon well and truly on the backfoot. Working to keep Jian safe, Jinman will take the fight to Babylon’s door, but the mercenary organisation will not go down easily. Humiliated, Babylon will bring in help from overseas and unleash a new wave of deadly assassins to rebuild its ranks and exact its revenge. A Shop for Killers is streaming on Disney+.

The series follows newly divorced mum Paula (Maslany) as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Convinced she witnessed a crime – while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis – Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy. The show is now streaming on Apple TV.
Murder Club: Liar’s Table
Cast: Pani Bottle, Faker, Choi Yangrak, Eom Jiyoon, Shin Sungrok, Kim Seontae, Max Changmin and Kim Hyunsoo
This game show plunges a group of star cast into an immersive murder mystery. With the real culprit hidden among them, the players must rely on limited clues and evidence to unmask the culprit, while the guilty party uses every tactic available to avoid being exposed until the very end. Murder Club: Liar’s Table will make its debut on Disney+ on July 29.
