Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expresses gratitude to Thailand for helping Malaysians stranded by floods, highlighting strong bilateral relations.
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed sincere appreciation to Thailand for assisting Malaysians stranded by floods in southern Thailand.
He thanked Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and the Thai government for their compassion and prompt assistance.
“This prompt and thoughtful action reflects the enduring strength of our bilateral relations and the spirit of solidarity that we deeply value,” Anwar said in a Facebook post.
He emphasised that Malaysia and Thailand will continue working closely to safeguard their peoples’ safety and welfare.
