Pahang Sultan stops to help accident victim on highway

Sultan of Pahang delayed his journey to assist a motorcyclist injured in an accident on the East Coast Highway near Temerloh.

KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, personally stopped to help an accident victim on the East Coast Highway 1 today.

His Majesty was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan when he encountered the incident near the Temerloh toll exit.

Al-Sultan Abdullah saw an accident involving a motorcyclist and a car.

“Concerned about the injuries suffered by the motorcyclist, he ordered his police escort car to take the victim to the Temerloh Hospital immediately for treatment,” stated a post on the Pahang Sultanate’s Facebook page.

The Sultan also stepped out of his vehicle to check on the condition of the victim and the other vehicle involved.

He then continued his journey to Kuantan after ensuring assistance was provided.
