KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysia Police is taking definitive steps to expedite uniform tailoring allowance payments for its personnel.

Bukit Aman Logistics and Technology Department director Gilberd Philip Layang acknowledged concerns raised by members regarding this matter.

He confirmed coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and other central agencies to ensure claims are settled promptly.

“We are coordinating with the Ministry of Home Affairs and other relevant central agencies to ensure all claims are settled as soon as possible, in accordance with current financial and procurement regulations,” he said in a statement.
