Erra Fazira marries businessman Ezwan Zain in Shah Alam ceremony

Malaysian actress Erra Fazira, 51, has married businessman Ezwan Zain in a morning solemnisation ceremony at Rinjani Majestic in Shah Alam.

SHAH ALAM: Popular actress and singer Erra Fazira has married businessman Ezwan Zain in a ceremony here today.

The solemnisation took place at 9.19 am at Rinjani Majestic in Kampung Melayu Subang.

Erra, 51, has been a single mother for nearly 11 years prior to this union with Ezwan, 44.

The ceremony was officiated by Selangor Islamic Religious Council Assistant Registrar of Marriages Mohd Sabirin Noordin.

Erra received a symbolic 102-gramme ‘ufti bunga emas’ or golden flower tribute as part of her dowry.

She also received a jewellery set, a handbag, a watch, and a pair of shoes.

A ‘bersanding’ ceremony for family members is scheduled for tomorrow.

A reception for friends and acquaintances will be held on December 27.

This marks Erra Fazira’s third marriage.

She was previously married to actor and KRU member Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim, with their marriage ending in divorce in 2006.

Her second marriage was to businessman Engku Emran, with whom she has a daughter, Engku Aleesya, before divorcing in 2014. – Bernama
