Deputy PM invites public to Huffaz Gathering and Nusantara Da’wah Symphony in Bagan Datuk, featuring lectures, Quran arts and family activities.
BAGAN DATUK: The 2025 Huffaz Gathering and Nusantara Da’wah Symphony will be held this Sunday at Masjid Tuminah Hamidi.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the event will run from 11 am to 4.30 pm.
He invited the public, especially local residents, to attend the family-friendly programme.
The event will feature a religious lecture by Prof Dr Abdul Somad Batubara.
It will also include an Exploration of Tahfiz Technical and Vocational Education and Training by the National TVET Council.
Other activities are an al-Quran arts exhibition by Nasyrul Quran and performances by the Soutul Mustafa qasidah group.
Food trucks will offer a variety of dishes throughout the day.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Bagan Datuk MP, announced a dress code for attendees.
Men are encouraged to wear baju Melayu or white robes, while women are asked to wear black robes.
“May our presence become a means for Allah SWT’s mercy and blessings to descend,” he said in a Facebook post.
He ended his announcement with the phrase “Quranic Legacy, Building a Rabbani Generation”. – Bernama
