February supplementary electoral roll adds 36,141 new voters

A total of 36,141 new voters were automatically registered in February, with the supplementary electoral roll now open for public review for 30 days.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Election Commission has gazetted a supplementary electoral roll adding 36,141 new voters.

These citizens, aged 18 and above, were automatically registered between February 1 and 28.

The February 2026 Supplementary Electoral Roll also includes 14,129 registered voters who changed constituencies.

A further 2,322 voters changed their voting category or status.

EC secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said the roll is open for review for 30 days from March 18 until April 16.

He urged citizens registered in that period to check their names on the roll.

Those whose names are absent may submit a claim using Form C via the online application portal.

Registered voters can also object to new inclusions in their constituency by submitting Form D.

“Forms C and D can also be downloaded from the State Election Offices portal and must be submitted to the respective State Election Director together with the objection fee within the review period,” Khairul Shahril said.

The EC has provided five methods for checking the supplementary roll.

These include the EC’s official portal, the State Election Offices portal, an online application, the MySPR Semak mobile app, and a dedicated hotline.
