The government will review SOPs and licensing processes in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan to make transactions easier and more accessible
KUALA LUMPUR: The government will review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes involving licensing and daily transactions at Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), Putrajaya Corporation (PPj) and Labuan Corporation in the coming months.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh said the move is part of efforts to ensure the processes become easier and more accessible to the public.
“I am committed to facilitating business transactions in Kuala Lumpur. I am also committed to managing the Federal Territories with greater transparency and securing better cooperation from the private sector,” she said in a Facebook post today.
Hannah said she believes that thriving businesses and strong community relations can go hand in hand.
She cited the Federation of Motor and Credit Companies Association Malaysia (FMC) Kuala Lumpur and Selangor as an example of making involvement easier and more meaningful while contributing positively to the wider business ecosystem.
In conjunction with the 58th anniversary of FMC Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, she also congratulated the federation and expressed hope for closer cooperation in the future.
