Health Ministry to review national health personnel mobilisation programme

The Ministry of Health will conduct a comprehensive study to analyse and improve its national health personnel mobilisation efforts

PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of Health will undertake a comprehensive study to enhance its national health personnel mobilisation programme.

The ministry said the study will analyse the programme’s impact and evaluate its future feasibility.

“The MOH is always committed to implementing continuous improvements to provide the best healthcare service delivery to the people, especially at health facilities,” it stated.

This initiative aligns with the government’s agenda to democratise public services.

Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azr Abu Bakar recently stated the government is strengthening service delivery by redeploying medical officers and police personnel to areas of greater need.

He reported that 380 medical officers were involved in the mobilisation at headquarters and health facility levels.

Besides medical officers, the mobilisation also involves nurses and medical assistants.

The effort directly supports the Frontline Agency Strengthening Initiative under the Public Service Reform Agenda. – Bernama
