Local man dies after falling out of moving vehicle following alleged argument

A local man died after allegedly exiting a moving car in Nilai. Police have classified the case as sudden death and are investigating.

PETALING JAYA: A local man believed to be in his 20s died after falling out of a moving vehicle in Seremban due to an alleged argument.

The incident is believed to have occurred following a conversation between the deceased and a local woman in the vehicle on Monday (February 2) at around 3pm along Jalan Seremban–Nilai near Taman Kirby.

Nilai district police chief Superintendent Johari Yahya confirmed in a statement on Wednesday (February 4) that the case has been classified as a sudden death and that investigations are ongoing.

The victim was found unconscious at the scene and was rushed to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday (February 3) at 12.35pm.

According to the statement, the incident was reported by the woman on the same day at approximately 11.37am.

“While travelling, a conversation reportedly took place between both parties, after which the victim is believed to have suddenly exited the moving vehicle,” he said.

Preliminary findings showed that the man sustained injuries to his head, knees, and legs. However, the actual cause of death will be determined following a post-mortem examination.
