No Malaysians were affected by the attacks in Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani, says Wisma Putra, advising citizens in the region to stay vigilant.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Foreign Ministry has confirmed no Malaysians were directly affected by attacks in southern Thailand.

It advised Malaysians in or travelling to the affected areas to remain vigilant.

Citizens were told to avoid locations with a heightened security presence and comply with local authorities.

Wisma Putra encouraged Malaysians in the region to register their presence for timely communication.

This registration would facilitate assistance if required.
