Pahang’s Maran water supply system upgrade, benefiting 32,000 users, is 40% ahead of schedule and set for completion by April 2026.
KUANTAN: The installation and upgrading of the water supply system in Kampung Luit, Maran is expected to be completed by April 2026.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said the project is currently more than 40% ahead of its original schedule.
Approximately 32,000 users will benefit from the upgraded water supply infrastructure.
“God willing, the water supply issues in the Maran district can be resolved by more than 90% in the near future,” he stated through a Facebook post.
Wan Rosdy added that this effort aligns with the state government’s commitment to resolve 90% of water supply problems across Pahang by the end of 2025.
He also visited the Maran District Water Supply System Upgrading Project Site in Kampung Luit to monitor progress. – Bernama
