Schools continue as usual amid PdPR rumours

The Education Ministry confirms schools are operating normally, dismissing viral online rumours about a switch to home-based learning (PdPR).

PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry (MOE) has assured the public that school sessions nationwide are continuing as usual despite concerns circulating online about the possible implementation of home-based teaching and learning (PdPR).

In a statement, the ministry said it is aware of the concerns raised by the public following viral reports suggesting that PdPR may be introduced.

However, MOE clarified that no decision has been made regarding the implementation of PdPR at this time.

“The ministry would like to inform that school sessions are currently proceeding as usual. There has been no determination made regarding the implementation of PdPR,” the statement said.

It added that the ministry’s priority remains ensuring that students’ learning continues without disruption while safeguarding the welfare and well-being of all parties involved.

The ministry also stressed that it remains attentive to public concerns and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
