SEREMBAN: Perikatan Nasional (PN) tonight unveiled its line-up of 11 candidates for the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election.
The list comprises five candidates from PAS, four from Parti Wawasan Negara (Wawasan), and one each from Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Gerakan) and the Malaysian Indian People’s Party (MIPP).
PN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar announced the line-up at the PAS Complex (Kompas) in Kampung Ismail, Ampangan here.
Nominations take place on Saturday, followed by early voting on July 28 and polling on Aug 1.
The list of candidates is as follows:
- N04 Klawang: Danni Rais (Wawasan)
- N05 Serting: Mohd Fairuz Mohd Isa (PAS)
- N11 Lobak: Dr P. Kumar (PAS)
- N13 Sikamat: Datuk Razali Abu Samah (Wawasan)
- N14 Ampangan: Datuk Dr Mohamad Rafie Ab Malek (PAS)
- N21 Bukit Kepayang: Lee Boon Shian (Gerakan)
- N23 Mambau: Erik Michael (Wawasan)
- N25 Paroi: Kamarol Ridzuan Mohd Zain (PAS)
- N30 Lukut: Sathes Kumar Nilameham (MIPP)
- N31 Bagan Pinang: Abdul Fatah Zakaria (PAS)
- N34 Gemas: Ridzuan Ahmad (Wawasan)
