Sabah Electricity ensures stable power supply for state election

Sabah Electricity guarantees stable electricity supply at all polling and vote tallying centres during the 17th state election.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricity has confirmed its readiness to ensure smooth and stable power supply throughout the 17th Sabah State Election process today.

The utility company announced on Facebook that it will maintain proper electricity supply at all polling centres and vote tallying centres statewide.

“Our mission is to ensure a stable electricity supply, from technical inspections, collaboration with the Election Commission and up to providing mobile generators, our team is fully prepared,” the company stated.

Sabah Electricity also confirmed its commitment to supporting a smooth election process for the people of Sabah.

The company has activated its central operations room specifically for the state election period.

Additional security measures include assistance from auxiliary police to increase patrols around election facilities.

Collaboration with the Public Works Department will ensure thorough inspection of internal wiring at all voting centres.

Over 1.74 million registered voters are expected to cast their ballots in tomorrow’s state election.

Voters will decide representatives for all 73 contested state seats. – Bernama
