PR1MA has completed 32 of 34 stalled housing projects, with the remaining two in final stages. The corporation has delivered 44,244 units nationwide
ALOR SETAR: Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia has fully completed 32 of 34 previously identified stalled housing projects and handed them over to buyers.
Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said the remaining two projects are in their final stages, with his ministry assisting to accelerate their completion.
“With the completion of these projects, there are no more ‘sick’ projects under PR1MA,” he stated during a key handover ceremony.
“The MADANI Government’s mandate is clear: no PR1MA project will be abandoned.”
Nga described the project completions as a significant achievement demonstrating the government’s ability to revive stalled projects without compromising quality standards.
Throughout 2025, PR1MA completed five development projects comprising 2,343 residential units, including three stalled projects with 1,391 units.
“This success reflects PR1MA’s capabilities and the dedication of the entire team in ensuring homes are completed safely and to high-quality standards,” he added.
Since its establishment, PR1MA has developed 91 housing projects nationwide totaling 54,142 units.
Of these, 67 projects comprising 44,244 units have been fully completed.
PR1MA recorded strong sales this year with 1,163 units sold, generating a Gross Development Value exceeding RM330 million.
Currently, 13 active projects comprising 6,513 units are under construction nationwide.
These developments are being carried out with careful planning to ensure timely completion to required standards.
Additionally, 11 new projects comprising 3,385 units are being planned to meet future housing needs. – Bernama
