Putrajaya’s reform convention to showcase government progress and engage public through free interactive programmes from Dec 5-7.
PUTRAJAYA: Public service reforms will be strengthened through the Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku Programme and 2025 National Public Service Reform Convention from December 5-7.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar said the programme marks the third anniversary of the MADANI Government administration.
“This year’s event will feature various interactive segments open to the public, including the International Energy Convention, MADANI Berselawat, and community activities,” he told media after an engagement session with editors-in-chief.
The programme will serve as a national benchmark showcasing how policy reforms translate into tangible public benefits.
“The programme is open to all and free of charge… we will be offering many exciting activities for the public,” he said.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will officiate the closing ceremony on December 7.
According to the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit, the programme includes interactive exhibitions highlighting government services under Malaysia MADANI.
The convention will feature high-level sessions with the Prime Minister, Chief Secretary, and senior public service leadership discussing reform direction towards 2030.
With the theme “Rancakkan MADANI Bersama Malaysiaku”, the programme focuses on three key objectives: assessing ARPA and STAR progress, strengthening performance culture, and reinforcing government-private sector collaboration.
“Reform is not an option but a necessity,” Shamsul Azri said.
“It is a shared journey between the government, civil servants and the people to ensure governance that is transparent, efficient and effective.” – Bernama
