MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms and heavy rain affecting Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan until noon.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds expected to affect six states and Labuan until noon today.
In a statement today, MetMalaysia said the affected areas include parts of Perak, namely Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak; Selangor (Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor); and Negeri Sembilan (Port Dickson).
The same warning was issued for Melaka and Sarawak, involving Sibu (Selangau), Mukah, Kapit and Bintulu.
In Sabah, the affected areas are Pedalaman (Kuala Penyu and Beaufort), Tawau, and Sandakan (Kinabatangan and Sandakan).
