Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in five states and Labuan until 9 pm tonight, says MetMalaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit five states and the Federal Territory of Labuan until 9 pm tonight.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) in a statement today announced that the weather conditions are expected to hit Terengganu involving the areas of Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Dungun and Kemaman as well as Jerantut and Kuantan in Pahang.
A similar warning has been issued for Kluang in Johor and for Sarawak in Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah (Tanjung Manis), Kapit, Bintulu (Tatau), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan and Marudi) and Limbang.
In Sabah, the areas affected are the Interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Keningau and Tambunan), the West Coast and Kudat.
