U Mobile offers new home fibre broadband plan from RM79 per month

KUALA LUMPUR: U Mobile Sdn Bhd today launched its new home fibre broadband plan, U Home Fibre, with the base fibre plan of 100 megabits per second (Mbps) offered for as low as RM79 per month.

In a statement, U Mobile said the new plan would now be available to over one million more homes, especially those in high-rise buildings along the Western coast of Peninsular Malaysia, via its latest partnership with Time dotCom Bhd.

“To mark the widening of its reach, U Mobile is also launching a new plan which offers 300 Mbps at RM139 per month, expanding the existing portfolio of 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps and one gigabit per second (Gbps).

“Additionally, U Mobile is also making the monthly subscription fees of all its existing U Home Fibre broadband plans even more accessible, as the 100 Mbps plan will now be RM99 (previously RM129), 500 Mbps is at RM159 (previously RM199), and one Gbps is at RM289 (previously RM299),” it said.

The company said that in conjunction with the increased reach, it would offer a RM20 rebate for the monthly fees of all its U Home Fibre home broadband plans for 24 months if the subscriber signs up starting today until March 31, 2024.

“Hence, if a subscriber signs up for the U Home Fibre’s 100 Mbps plan during the promotional period, it will cost only RM79 monthly, making it the best value in the market today,” it added.

Customers can obtain more information about the new home fibre broadband plan, including promotional prices and coverage areas, via its website at https://www.u.com.my. –Bernama
