Police issued 87 traffic summonses during the RXZ Members Ride 3.0 event in Melaka for offences like expired licences and unauthorised accessories
MELAKA: Police issued 87 summonses for various traffic offences during the RXZ Members Ride Edition 3.0 2025 event.
The three-day event took place around the state from December 12 to 14.
State police chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department issued all the notices.
The main offences detected were expired motor vehicle licences, with 14 cases recorded.
Police also issued 13 summonses for riding without a valid driving licence.
Other common offences included failure to display P or L stickers, with 11 cases.
There were 10 cases involving the use of unauthorised accessories on motorcycles.
Nine summonses were issued for a lack of valid insurance coverage.
Other violations included missing side mirrors and registration numbers.
“We also detected offences related to helmets, modified exhausts, and faulty brake lights,” Dzulkhairi said in a statement.
He confirmed that no vehicles were seized and no arrests were made during the enforcement period.
There were also no reports of fatal or serious accidents involving event participants.
