SHAH ALAM: Police are investigating the motive behind the murder of a foreign national who was found dead with stab wounds in Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Kajang, two days ago.
Selangor Police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said police had not ruled out making further arrests of foreign nationals to assist in the investigation.
“The investigation is still ongoing, and we are trying to establish the actual motive.
“Based on the initial arrests, we found there may be information that could assist the investigation, and we believe those involved are also foreign nationals,” he said at a press conference on the achievements of the Selangor Commercial Crime Investigation Department at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters here today.
Yesterday, the media reported that police had arrested five foreign men, aged in their 20s and 30s, to assist in the investigation.
