Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has left hospital in Riyadh following medical examinations, with state media reporting reassuring results.
RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has been discharged from hospital after undergoing medical tests.
The 90-year-old monarch left the hospital in Riyadh on Friday, according to the state news agency.
The agency added that the results of the tests had been reassuring.
King Salman, whose country is the world’s largest oil exporter and a major US ally in the Middle East, received medical care for lung inflammation in 2024.
He last chaired a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, according to state news agency SPA. – Reuters
