BAM condemns online abuse and threats against national shuttlers

Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) strongly condemns online abuse targeting national players, prioritising athlete safety and wellbeing.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) has expressed serious concern over recent incidents of online abuse and threats directed at national badminton players.

BAM emphasised that athlete safety and wellbeing remain its highest priority in an official statement.

The association declared there is absolutely no place for hate, intimidation, or discrimination in badminton or society.

BAM strongly condemned such behaviour and urged everyone to express views with respect and positivity.

The association confirmed it will continue monitoring the situation closely while providing necessary player support. – Bernama
